This Meeting: The Boat House on Blackwattle Bay
The Boathouse is a memorable and spectacular location with magnificent views of the Anzac Bridge, the Sydney city skyline and Sydney Fish Market.
The Boathouse has an international reputation for the finest Australian seafoods. Tony Papas and Robert Smallbone established The Boathouse in 1997 Located in an historic converted boathouse at Blackwattle Bay, Sydney Harbour.

Last Meeting: La Scarla on Jersey
16 members unfortunately Ken and I were unable to attend but Mr James rose to the occasion – Food Master, Wine Master and President and in his words “it was easy” (he did have a little help from Michael Durkin). A great day, very relaxed, great atmosphere, food and wine were outstanding. On arrival Prosciutto with fresh figs and deep fried Yamba prawns accompanied by Ninth Island – Tasmania Chardonnay Pinot Noir Pinot Meunier.
The entrée of deep fried Hawkesbury squid Tiger prawns and zucchini blossoms was enjoyed with 2009 Seaview Special Reserve Fiano.
Main The 2003 Hirsch Hill Estate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir went very well with the lamb rump, organic stuffed tomato, zucchini, trifolati, mint salsa verde.
Dessert Panna cotta, stewed rhubarb, Grappa Moscato di Nonino 2005 Le Tertre Du Lys D’or Sauternes.
Horses Arse was won by Curt York.
(Although i had to ask 5 members before someone remembered who it was.... big day then was it?)
