This Meeting: Omeros on the Beach
The Omeros family have operated various restaurants around the St. George area for many years,
treating patrons to the finest and freshest seafood and produce daily, maintaining thierhigh standard of
fine dining, presented magnificently at a refreshing beachside location.
Last Meeting: Nicks Bondi Beach Pavilion - 15 members
A seafood feast was enjoyed by all that attended, unfortunately the weather was dismal, however, the
food, wine and location made up for that - a seafood and white wine day.
Canapes: Were served individually consisting of tempura oyster with wasabi mayo & nori flakes, Sydney
black mussels with sou cream & chive sauce, enjoyed with chilled Croser N.V. sparkling.
Entrées Was a delicious seafood medley made up of the salt and pepper school prawns, seared QLD
scallops with cauliflower puree and crisp pancetta shaving, fried baby calamari with lemon aoili, served
to share on a 3 tier presentation washed down with a Austrian 2009 Domane Waekam Gruner Veltliner.
Main course A very enjoyable half lobster morney accompanied with salted chips and greek salad
matched admirally with a White masked wineof Twelth Man Wirra Wirra Chardonnay 2010, the horses
was won by helmut.
Dessert A refreshing vanilla bean brulee with macadamia ice cream topped off with a smooth 2009
Morgan Botritis Semillon. A great day with seafood at Bondi Beach - magic.
