This Meeting: Nicks Bondi Beach Pavilion
This is one of Nick Manettas many restaurants, he is a fishmonger by trade with over 40 years experience,
often dubbed ‘The humble fishmonger’. His expertise supply of the finest and freshest produce, especially
seafood, and the service of the ultimate dining experience and in this case at a magical location.

Last Meeting: Blackwater Ristorante - 16 members
A most enjoyable day was had by all, great wines with fantastic food at a fabulous location.
Canapes: We started with a very generous antipasto platters accompanied with an enjoyable NV Pipers
Heidsieck French fizz.

Entrées Followed by crisp grilled quail wrapped in pancetta and a magnificent 2004 Tyrells Edward
Semillon (out of the cellar).

Main course The main was a succulent baked duck with brandy sauce which was a knockout and
abundant, matched amorally with the masked wine, a 2007 Taltarmi Heathcote Shiraz, The horses Arse
was won by the presso, Lindsay.

Dessert The day was capped off with a caramelised fig and apple pastry, butterscotch sauce and galliano
mascapone topped off with a super 2007 De Bortole Noble One.

Great selections Zane, see you in the New Year.

Chef Ricardo in the kitchen and wife Natasha running the floor, excelled again. Maintaining their
reputation for fine dining, sending everyone home extremely content.
(They scored 85.2%)
